Aerials team primed for relaunch in 2018

The coach of China's aerials ski team has vowed it will do better at the next Olympics after failing to claim gold in one of the nation's targeted events at the Sochi Games.

"Our athletes are young compared to those from Belarus and Australia. We still have to accumulate more experience and have more world-class athletes," said Ji Dong, head coach of China's freestyle aeralists.

"We are following the steps of those powerhouses in terms of experience and reserve team strength. We will be sure to do better at the next Winter Olympics in 2018."
