Crosby named Canada's captain

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby has been named captain of the Canadian hockey team at next month's Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. "I think playing for Team Canada in the Olympics is a great opportunity, but being named captain, I think, is definitely a huge honor," said Crosby, who was an alternate captain at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. He scored the game-winning goal in overtime that defeated the United States 3-2 and won the gold medal for Canada.
