Residents in Xiamen in East China's Fujian province are now finding it easier to go through administrative procedures, as local authorities bid to build a public service-oriented government.
"It is much easier than before," said Wang Lin, a 28-year old who received the license for his restaurant four days after he submitted his application to the city's administrative service center in late December.
He said it can get faster because people now can receive one-stop service at the center, adding that it used to take more than a month to go through procedures with different departments, including the administration of industry and commerce and the health inspection authorities.
