Sembcorp extends wastewater treatment expertise in Liaoning

Sembcorp Industries, a leading energy, water and marine group based in Singapore, has expanded its water business in China with two new wastewater treatment projects.

The projects will be built in industrial parks in Panjin in Northeast China's Liaoning province. Panjin is home to the Liaohe Oil Field, China's third-largest oil field.

The agreements for the projects were signed on the sidelines of the Singapore-Liaoning Economic and Trade Council meeting in Shenyang in August.
