How did you learn English when you were at college?

When I enrolled at Yunnan University at 16, my English was one of the worst in my department. But I didn't give up and started to learn the words, one by one. I wrote words on my hand so I could memorize them in my spare time. In my senior year, I was one of those students whose English fluency was envied by others.

What do you think international students can get from studying at your university?
