A new county

Xinxian county is located in the southern end of Henan province, neighboring Hubei and Anhui provinces.
Its name literally meaning "a new county", the county was founded only some 60 years ago by combining some towns in Henan and Hubei provinces.
It covers an area of 1,612 square km, with a population of 360,000.
