Spiritual songs

Award-winning singer Qin Haiqun has released her new album Beautiful Growth. Qin, who graduated from the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, has developed her own style of "post-folk", which combines elements of pop music and traditional Chinese operas. The album consists of both classic Chinese songs, such as Honghu Lake, Wave upon Wave and new works like Sentimental Flower. There is also the Buddhist chant Heart Sutra. Through the album, Qin tries to depict the spiritual growth of a person.
