Converting sunlight to 'cold and gold'

ClimateWell, a sustainable energy systems designer and technology provider, is a world leader in efficient thermal components for indoor heating and air conditioning systems that don't need oil, electricity or gas. Since its establishment in 2001, the company has pushed its vision for "one billion tons less of CO2".

"Our company is an innovation engine with over 120 patents that are solely dedicated to 'clean technology'," says Per Olofsson, CEO of ClimateWell. Recently, the company released a revolutionary new product for solar water heaters.

Like any other, these harness the sun's energy to produce hot water. However, ClimateWell's innovation converts the energy not only into heat but also into cooling for air conditioning. "Until now, nothing really new has happened since the invention of solar vacuum tube technology 40 years ago," he says.
