Latest in automation on show in Shanghai

As Asia's top exhibition in the field of industrial automation, the Industrial Automation Show 2013, also known as IAS, opens on Tuesday in Shanghai, larger and better planned than ever before.

More than 500 leading automation companies from China and abroad will gather at the Shanghai New International Expo Center between Nov 5 and 9 to showcase intelligent products, technologies and solutions.

The exhibition area covers a record-high area of 40,000 square meters. Industrial automation is an irreversible trend that is sure to bring more market opportunities, organizers said.
