Editor's note: The Central Committee of the ruling Communist Party of China, composed of more than 200 senior Party officials, will be held in November to discuss major economic and social issues concerning comprehensive reform.

Beginning on Monday, China Daily will have a series of stories on major issues that might be discussed at the upcoming meeting. Properly solving these issues is crucial to the reform carried out by the new leadership.
