30 mainland schools

Nearly 30 high schools on the mainland have adopted a Taiwan textbook on Chinese classics for the first time in six decades. The textbook, which is compulsory for Taiwan's students, has 22 sections that focus on Confucianism, including its Four Books: Analects, Mencius, Doctrine of the Mean and Great Learning.
