Photo: Turanor PlanetSolar, the world's largest solar-powered boat, travels on the Seine River in Paris on Tuesday. The boat, a catamaran, completed its first solar-powered circumnavigation of the world on May 4, 2012, after traveling more than 60,000 km in 584 days.

Bilingual: According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health in the US, 1,140 responders and people living near the World Trade Center at the time of the attacks on Sept 11, 2001, have been diagnosed with cancer. The number is 15 percent higher than the cancer rate of the general population.
