Zhang Ziyi produces and stars in new film

My Lucky Star, Zhang Ziyi's latest production, and in which she acts as lead, will premiere on Sept 17. Zhang also sings the theme song and stars in the music video with Yin Xishui, her disciple in the Chinese version of X-Factor, a TV reality show to find singing talents. Some people have doubted Zhang's ability as a mentor in a singing contest. But she has been very devoted in terms of supporting the contestants. In the music video, Zhang sings and dances with Yin, who used to be a noodle shop owner. Zhang describes Yin as China's Psy, famous for the global hit song Gangnam Style. Dennie Gordon, who directed 30 Rock and What a Girl Wants, directs the film.
