"As a public figure, no matter how many reasons I have, I should respect the traffic regulations. I apologize and feel shame and guilt for my behavior."

Han Hong, a Chinese singer and songwriter, apologized to the public on her micro blog on Sunday after she was fined 5,000 yuan ($816) by Beijing traffic police for driving a car with the license plate of another vehicle. This is her third traffic violation within a month, the Beijing Evening News reported.
