20.1 billion yuan

Central government departments, provincial authorities and State-owned enterprises have sent 4,766 officials on 6,037 Aid-Tibet programs that started in 1994, bringing a total of 20.1 billion yuan ($3.28 billion) to the autonomous region, Losang Jamcan, the region's chairman, said on Thursday. Losang Jamcan said the region has maintained a double-digit GDP growth rate since the aid programs were launched 19 years ago.
