Lecavalier inks multi-year deal

Four-time All-Star Vincent Lecavalier signed a multi-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, the second day of National Hockey League free agency. The 33-year-old Canadian joins Philadelphia on a five-year, $22.5 million deal after spending his entire 14-year league career with the Tampa Bay Lightning. In another major signing, the Boston Bruins landed winger Jarome Iginla, late of the Pittsburgh Penguins, on a one-year deal that, with bonuses, could be worth up to $6 million.
