Wiggins aiming for tour de force
British star looking to add Giro d'Italia title to list of achievements
Team Sky could endure a bumpy ride at the Tour de France after champion Bradley Wiggins back-pedaled from previous comments and made it clear he sees himself as the man to lead their charge again.
The 33-year-old, who last year became the first Briton to win the Tour and also grabbed gold in the Olympic time trial, is seeking victory in this week's Giro d'Italia. If he is successful, he thinks he will be in ideal shape to lead the team in France instead of 2012 runner-up Chris Froome
