Two reservoirs under repair

Almost all large and medium-sized reservoirs in areas of Sichuan province hit by the earthquake are operating normally, the Ministry of Water Resources said on Sunday. Only two medium-sized facilities were damaged, the authority said. Water in a barrier lake in Lushan county was emptied on Sunday morning. The ministry's local branches said they are making repairs to damaged water supply facilities and searching for emergency sources of water.
