Other products to mark the anniversary include commemorative envelopes and comic books. Lei, a young Chinese soldier in the 1960s, is known for devoting his spare time and money to help the needy. March 5 is designated "Lei Feng Day."

Researchers have found that men, in particular, use humor as a mating signal, to show off their intelligence and good genes to women.
