Murakami set to awe

Worldwide fans of Japanese writer and translator Haruki Murakami will get a bang out of reading his newest novel scheduled to be released in April, according to publisher Bungeishunju Ltd. But to date, very little details have been revealed about the book. Born in 1949, Murakami's three-volume novel 1Q84, a book full of adventures and suspense that is told in double storylines, has been topping Chinese best-selling lists since the translated version was released in 2010. His Norwegian Wood, published in early 2000s, was also well-received by younger generation Chinese.
