Survivor saved

A survivor of a traffic accident involving more than 40 vehicles is removed from a vehicle on Wednesday. The accident in Henan province happened at about 7:35 am on the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway's Luohe city section. Three people died and at least 13 others were injured, the Luohe government said. The initial investigation showed the cause of the accident was heavy fog. Photo by Kang Fei / for China Daily
