"Chang'e-2"

China's second moon orbiter, the Chang'e-2, has made China the fourth country to be able to examine an asteroid using a spacecraft. On Dec 13, the Chang'e-2 successfully conducted a maneuver by flying as close as 3 kilometers to asteroid Toutatis, about 7 million km from Earth.

"Key ultra-high-voltage AC power transmission technology research, device development and project application"

China has faced a supply shortage of electricity, and the energy resources are far away from the load areas. To reduce the transmission losses to a manageable level, State Grid Corp of China has developed the technology.

"Safe and efficient exploitation technology for huge, ultra-deep sour gas fields and industry application"

This technology develops huge potential gas reserves in a gas field in Sichuan province while preventing corrosion and leakage.
