A long, hard day

Each trainee at Tianjiao International Security Academy starts training at 5 am and finishes at midnight, with breaks in between, according to trainer Zhai Xiaofei.

Trainees are taught self-defense and participate in simulation exercises to hone their skills.

The average age of trainees is about 25, and during training they are barred from contacting their friends and relatives outside the camp.
