The value of land transfer contracts totaled 2.69 trillion yuan ($428.95 billion) in 2012, the Ministry of Land and Resources said in a statement on Saturday. The figure was down from 3.15 trillion yuan in 2011 and flat from 2.7 trillion yuan in 2010, according to the ministry's data.
