More BRICS talks needed, says Beijing

China on Thursday called for the BRICS countries to deepen cooperation for mutual benefits, improve coordination in international and regional affairs, and set up a new model of state-to-state relations in the era of globalization. State Councilor Dai Bingguo made the call when attending the third meeting of senior representatives of national security affairs held in New Delhi. The BRICS countries - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - will hold their fifth annual summit in Durban, South Africa, in March.
