Boxing star shows young how to fight for success

Olympic boxing champion Zou Shiming put on his gloves and demonstrated his trademark footwork and punches.

Although he was not in the Olympic ring and fighting for an Olympic title, the purpose of his coaching session was no less important than a gold medal. He was holding a 35-minute boxing show for a group of underprivileged high school students from the rural areas of his hometown province, Guizhou. The students belong to a Legend Enterprising Class at the Qiannan Tianjiabing Middle School in Duyun, a charity education program supported by Legend Holdings.

The 31-year-old gold medalist at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games enjoyed a hero's welcome from locals. His wife, Ran Yingying, a CCTV anchorwoman and image ambassador for Southwest China's Guizhou province, accompanied him during the visit.
