Blizzards and freezing temperatures cause chaos across Northeast China

Fierce overnight snowstorms caused commuting chaos in Northeast China on Monday, leading to the cancellation of hundreds of flights and the closing of schools.

Thousands of cars crawled along snow-covered streets in parts of Liaoning province during morning rush hour after up to 20 centimeters of snow fell across the province.
