China aids Syrian refugees in Jordan

China has provided the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization humanitarian assistance to help the Syrian refugees in Jordan, Xinhua News Agency reported. The aid is in light of Jordan's appeal for assistance to be able to continue serving Syrian refugees in the country, said Yue Xiaoyong, Chinese ambassador to Amman. China provided Jordan with 240 caravans to be used in Jordan's Zaataru camp for Syrian refugees, especially in winter, the ambassador said. The assistance included lamps, torches and large tents.
