Farewell Nanjing Road

Shanghai Art Museum will move to the China Pavilion of the World Expo 2010 by the end of the month. Its last exhibition at the old venue on Nanjing Road West features a collective show of contemporary Chinese art. Curator of the exhibition Yu Ke hopes the show will evoke memories about the museum's presence in People's Square since 1996. Acclaimed artists such as Fang Lijun, Yue Minjun and Zhou Chunya, will present oil paintings, installations and video projects.
