Domestic tourism revenue increased to 1,930 billion yuan ($305.5 billion) in 2011 from 387.8 billion yuan in 2002, according to a report on the development of Chinese tourism in the past decade published on Friday by the National Tourism Administration.

By the end of 2011, six provincial regions each had tourism revenue exceeding 300 billion yuan, and 21 provincial regions had revenue surpassing 100 billion yuan.
