Ills of using women to sell goods

Photographs of skimpily dressed models at the recent Chengdu Motor Show in Sichuan province have been doing the rounds of the Internet and drawn widespread criticism. The photographs reflect the unhealthy use of women to make money and the abhorrent norms of competition that have come to rule the market, says an article in Xi'an Evening News. Excerpts:

The use of women's beauty as a tool to make money should not cross the social bottom line. Experts warned a long time ago that companies that thrive on such gimmicks are fragile and short-lived.
