A long way to go to face second string

Some of the best teams in the world are coming to China, but China isn't greeting them with the best it has to offer.
To the disappointment of local fans, both Beijing Guo'an and Shanghai Shenhua dispatched their second teams in high-profile friendlies last week to keep the first teams fresh for Chinese Super League matches over the weekend.
Beijing Guo'an was crushed by Bayern Munich 6-0 on Tuesday, while Manchester United sealed a flat 1-0 win over Shenhua's substitutes on Wednesday.
Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka watched from the stands, leaving bored fans to call for Shenhua boss Zhu Jun to take the field, as he did for five minutes against Liverpool in 2007.
