China is ready to boost mutually beneficial cooperation with Cuba, Premier Wen Jiabao on Friday told Cuban leader Raul Castro, who will wrap up a four-day visit to China on Saturday.

The visit has great significance as it allowed the two sides to exchange experiences and learn from each other in the face of new scenarios, and to jointly address challenges, Wen said.

China is ready to increase cooperation with Cuba in areas including trade, agriculture, science and technology, energy and infrastructure, in line with the two countries' development plans, Wen added.
