Rio+20 by numbers
Over nine days (June 13 to 22), thousands of events were held across Rio de Janeiro in the lead-up to and during Rio+20, including more than 500 official and side events at the Riocentro Convention Center, where the conference was held. Rio+20 was the UN's biggest-ever conference, and included the participation of leaders of governments, business and civil society, as well as UN officials, academics, journalists and the general public. Below are some of the key numbers from Rio+20.
