Excellent access to markets

The Congolese population is small and its incomes are limited. According to "L'Enqute Congolaise Auprs des Mnages" (the Congolese Household Survey) conducted by "Le Centre national de la Statistique et des Etudes Economiques" (National Center of Statistics and Economic Studies), 50.7 percent of the overall population lives below the poverty threshold, on less than a dollar per day per person.
