The Hong Kong Jockey Club created world-class equestrian venues for the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

Horse racing has been Hong Kong people's favorite sport for more than a century, and has over the years become an icon of Hong Kong's vibrant lifestyle. But the past 15 years in particular have seen locally-trained horses and jockeys establishing strong footholds in the international racing arena, promoting the city's unique and dynamic brand to racing fans and visitors worldwide.
