PAIRS OF SHOES
Jin Shiming, 60, who is known as China's Forrest Gump, has walked more than 80,000 km wearing 58 pairs of shoes in the past six years. He's left his footprints on 1,922 counties and cities in China. Jin said he would walk to the remaining 578 counties and cities in China in the next two years before settling down in his home in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. Jin finances his wanderlust with local people's support and his monthly 1,700 yuan ($267) pension.
