Abnormal behavior needs to be treated

Abnormal sexual behavior has to do with the experience of personal growth and needs to be treated by a psychiatrist or psychologist, experts said.

"Some people want to find some sexual release by conducting deviant behavior, in which they can have sexual gratification and experience sexual arousal," said Wang Yuru, president of the Shanghai Association for Counseling Industry.

"This could be a kind of psychological illness, which also reflects the loneliness and solitude within them," she added. "They need psychological treatment to make them behave normally."
