BMW predicts growth

BMW is expecting a 25 to 30 percent increase in China this year on projected sales between 291,000 and 302,000 units, Friedrich Eichiner, chief financial officer of BMW Group, said on May 24,

China surpassed the US in the first quarter of the year to become BMW's biggest market. In the first four months, its namesake brand sold 100,300 cars, 35 percent more than in the same period last year.
