He Shu shows off Yunnan folk songs

What's new

Chinese soprano He Shu will hold a recital titled Colorful Yunnan at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on June 8.

A professor of vocal art with Yunnan Arts University, He is well known for her interpretation of Chinese folk songs, especially those from Yunnan province. At the recital, she will perform a program of Yunnan folk songs that include Flowing Water of the Creek, Terraces of Yunyang and Colorful Yunnan.
