Flood headquarters visits show we're in good hands
Extreme weather, death toll, rescue work, water level, dams and reservoirs those were most of the key words in my mind when I started to cover water disasters more than a year ago.
Too many technical words have marked such stories, which always made the subject feel unapproachable and hard to understand.
But something changed during a one-week news group visit to three of China's seven major rivers, including the Huaihe, the Yangtze and the Pearl.
