Truck slams kindergarten bus; 2 students killed, 15 injured

A heavy truck crashed into a kindergarten school bus in Yangchun, Guangdong province, on Monday afternoon, killing at least two children and injuring 15 others, according to a local government official.

The accident happened at 3:59 pm when the truck slammed into the minibus at a crossroad near an industrial park.

Zhi Lanyu, deputy director of the Yangchun's publicity department, said 17 students were on the minibus and that two girls sitting near a door struck by the truck were killed.
