China willing to work with others to help DPRK

BEIJING - China is always willing to help the Democratic People's Republic of Korea within its ability and welcomes all kinds of support from other countries and the international community to help the DPRK overcome its current difficulties.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei made the remarks at a regular news conference on Monday, after Deputy Foreign Minister Fu Ying reportedly visited the DPRK last week.

"The foreign ministries of China and the DPRK maintain all kinds of communication and dialogue. Diplomatic officials from both countries exchanged views on bilateral ties and international and regional issues of common concern last week," said Hong.
