Actor and enfant terrible brought down by drug case

Actor Zhang Mo is in hot water after he was detained for 13 days on Wednesday for allegedly taking drugs. And it's not the first time that he's been in trouble.

His father, actor Zhang Guoli, has shown his remorse and begged for the public to forgive his son, while his friend the director Feng Xiaogang has also made a mea culpa.

"I feel very sad," Feng said. "As Zhang Mo's uncle, I failed to discipline him strictly and I'm saying sorry to everyone, together with his father," the director posted on his micro blog. Zhang Mo was shooting Feng's film Looking Back to 1942, in Shanxi province, before the incident.
