Govt seeks report opinions

China Daily | Updated: 2012-02-01 07:59

BEIJING - The State Council announced on Tuesday that it will send drafts of the annual government work report to local governments and some central departments for feedback.

The draft of the report is to be delivered at the opening of the fifth session of the 11th National People's Congress, China's top legislature, which will convene its annual session in Beijing on March 5.

Premier Wen Jiabao, who chaired the work conference, said the government should create channels for people to voice their criticisms, and the government should listen to and absorb their suggestions to improve government's operation.
