China, ROK vow to promote ties

BEIJING - China and the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Tuesday vowed to promote bilateral ties and reaffirmed the importance of the Korean Peninsula's peace and stability, according to a meeting of senior diplomats from both sides.

Vice-Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun led the Chinese delegation to the fourth China-ROK high-level strategic dialogue in Seoul and held talks with his ROK counterpart Park Suk-hwan on Tuesday.

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of China-ROK diplomatic relations.
