Ties with Myanmar reaffirmed

BEIJING - The good neighborly friendship between China and Myanmar is "a precious legacy" for the peoples of both countries, the State Councilor Dai Bingguo said during a meeting with Myanmar President U Thein Sein on Monday.

Dai left Beijing on Monday for Naypyitaw, Myanmar, to attend the 4th Summit of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Economic Cooperation Program on Tuesday.

During the meeting with Dai, Thein Sein introduced Myanmar's current domestic situation and foreign relations.
