Sinotrans to head logistics for Olympic sports events

Sinotrans Group will be the logistics services supplier for the Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) over the next four years, according to a contract signed at the end of last month.

The agreement will see Sinotrans provide services for Chinese teams at a number of major sports events including the London Olympic Games in 2012 and Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014.

Ma Jilong, director of the COC marketing department, noted logistics is "one of the most important parts of support work for Chinese sports teams".
