Rovers boss admits job is on the line

China Daily | Updated: 2011-12-19 07:57

BLACKBURN, England - Blackburn manager Steve Kean admits he faces the sack unless his struggling side can climb out of the Premier League relegation zone.

Kean endured more calls for his resignation after Peter Odemwingie's last-gasp winner gave West Bromwich Albion a 2-1 victory at Ewood Park on Saturday.

The beleaguered boss has already been subjected to several protests from angry Rovers fans and the jeers got even louder after a result that left Kean contemplating a miserable first anniversary of his appointment.
