Chris Paul is still a member of the New Orleans Hornets. The Los Angeles Clippers became the latest team to back off, turning down a proposed trade involving Paul because the asking price was too high. The package reportedly included center Chris Kaman, reserve guard Eric Bledsoe, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and their No. 1 pick in the 2012 draft.

The Clippers made two other moves instead, claiming five-time all-star Chauncey Billups off waivers and re-signing center DeAndre Jordan. The Clippers got Jordan back after matching an offer sheet from Golden State.
